About Us
Our history since 2007
Dear Prospective Partners,
We invite you to discover the passion, innovation, and dedication that have driven Bagfactory since our beginnings. What started as a small import-export office, founded by two young entrepreneurs—Marius Rumbinas and Gvidas Krolis—has evolved into a pioneering company committed to sustainability⁴ and quality in the production of eco-friendly¹ packaging solutions.
From our early days producing custom-made packaging for supermarket chains and department stores across Central Europe and Scandinavia, we have always believed that business success and environmental responsibility should go hand in hand. In 2015, this belief led us to establish our own manufacturing plant in Lithuania, where we began offering machine-made bags from non-woven spunbond and paper, always with the planet in mind.
Innovation has been key to our growth. Over the years, we’ve developed cutting-edge production methods, including pioneering reusable non-woven polypropylene shopping bags using advanced bonding technology. This shift from traditional methods has allowed us to create beautifully designed, durable, and environmentally friendly bags at competitive prices—helping our clients make a sustainable choice without compromising on quality or cost.
Since 2020, we’ve taken our commitment to sustainability⁴ even further by introducing recycled² non-woven spunbond materials into our production. We’ve also expanded our range of products with automatic handle carrier paper bags, available in various sizes and finishes to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Whether you are looking for reusable or paper bags, we have the flexibility to deliver high-quality solutions on time, every time.
We are particularly proud of our ongoing collaboration with Kaunas Technology University, Ultrasound Research Department, where we have developed innovative processes to produce 100% recycled PET bags³—pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in sustainable packaging.
At Bagfactory, our mission is clear: to create eco-friendly¹ packaging solutions that help businesses thrive while contributing to a greener, more sustainable future. In this catalogue, you’ll find products that reflect our commitment to both innovation and the environment, designed to meet your needs and exceed your expectations.
We look forward to the opportunity to work together and contribute to your business’s sustainability goals.
Sincerely,
Marius Rumbinas & Gvidas Krolis

Sustainability
Our Commitment to Sustainability
At Bagfactory, our dedication to sustainability is not just a commitment—it’s a driving force behind everything we do. As a leading producer of eco-friendly bags in Lithuania, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of environmental responsibility. Our production processes are guided by internationally recognized certifications, including FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®)-C148740, GRS, and OEKO-TEX, ensuring that every bag we create meets ecological criteria.
Innovation
Innovation in Research and Development
Our journey towards sustainability is fueled by continuous research and development. A key milestone in our innovation efforts is our collaboration with Kaunas Technology University, where we have achieved a breakthrough in bonding technology. This advancement allows us to rapidly bond two non-woven materials together, making our production process not only faster but also more competitive with Asian suppliers. What is the result? Our bags are so durable that they can carry weights up to 40 kg, depending on the thickness and type of material used.
Eco printing
Eco-Friendly Printing Techniques
In addition to our bonding technology, we have also revolutionized our printing processes. Whether using flexography, screen printing, or digital printing, we exclusively use environmentally friendly, water-based inks. This approach enables us to print directly onto the web without the need for lamination techniques, resulting in a mono-material bag that is both easier to recycle and more sustainable.
At Bagfactory, our commitment to sustainability is woven into every bag we produce—combining cutting-edge technology with eco-conscious practices to deliver products that are not only strong and durable but also kind to the planet.
