Back in 2019 BAGFACTORY started to research & develop flexible ultrasound material thermal joining technology for automatic non-woven R-PET bag manufacturing process (PET-RPET GO).
In the production process, the company uses ultrasonic technologies for thermal edge joining. Technological production processes using ultrasonic technologies are constantly improved by working with the researchers from KTU Ultrasound Institute.
In 2022 with the participation of researchers from the KTU Ultrasound institute BAGFACTORY launched worldwide innovation with new ultrasonic material thermal bonding technology for automatic production of non-woven R-PET material bags.
What this means is that from now on our partners would be able to order non-woven R-PET bags made in a fully automatic way from a European manufacturer.
Standard non-woven R-PET bags made by needle and thread method in Asia can be replaced by machine made non-woven R-PET production technology in Europe, Lithuania.

Non-woven R-PET bag production produces 65.5% less carbon than virgin PET and 12% less than cotton.
REDUCED WATER POLUTION
Non-woven R-PET production need only 10% water compared to virgin PET non-woven material production.
REDUCED ENERGY CONSUMPTION
In Non-woven R-PET production needs only 30% of the energy which is required for virgin PET production.
HELPS FIGHT POLUTION
Human nature uses million of plastic bottles per minute. 91% of plastic is not recycled. By taking advantage of PET already in circulation we can make new products such as bags and help to reduce pollution of our planet.
HIGH HEAT RESISTANCE
Due to PET fiber construction the non-woven R-PET bags have high resistibility to high temperatures which means original bag would not loose its shape so quickly.
ECO-FRIENDLY WATER-BASED INKS
To produce our non-woven R-PET bags with printing, we use eco-friendly water-based inks that meet the highest quality standards according to the EU legislation.
LARGE CARRYING WEIGHT
We guarantee up to a 40 kg holding weight, while ensuring that our customers can reuse the bag multiple times.
FOOD CONTACT APPROVED
Our non-woven R-PET bag is certified to be used in contact with food, as a secondary packaging.
RENEWABLE ENERGY PRODUCTION
In our bag production process, we use environmentally-friendly electricity produced and certified from 100% renewable energy sources.
