Bagfactory has introduced the ecoV Veggie, a reusable non-woven drawstring bag for fruit and vegetables. It provides a practical alternative to single-use plastic and paper bags when shopping.

The unique feature of this bag is the drawstring, which is designed to ensure tightness and can be used as a handle.
The fruit & vegetable bag is designed to be re-used multiple times.
Exclusive material
The bag is made from breathable non-woven material and is BRC-certified for direct food contact. It can be washed and reused. The bag and drawstring are made from the same main material, PP, avoiding the combination of different materials. We are pleased to offer European technology solutions for everyday shopping.

Reuse
The ecoV Bag is made from a soft, breathable fabric and can be hand-washed at low temperatures (up to 30°C). Cleaning the bag can extend its useful life.
Mono-material construction
All elements of the bag are made from the same main material. At the end of its useful life, there is no need to separate different main materials, simplifying preparation for recycling.

Our reusable fruit and vegetable bags are developed and manufactured at our factory in Vilnius, Lithuania.
LIGHTWEIGHT MATERIAL
For our FRUIT & VEGETABLE bags, we use a lightweight material with a weight of 35 g/m².

WATER-BASED INKS
To print our FRUIT & VEGETABLE bags, we use water-based inks that meet the quality standards set by EU legislation.
FOOD CONTACT APPROVED
Our FRUIT & VEGETABLE non-woven bag is certified to be used in contact with food, as a primary packaging.
LOAD CAPACITY OF UP TO 4 KG
The bag can carry a load of up to 4 kg, and its strong construction is designed for repeated use.
CIRCULAR ECONOMY AND RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTION
We improve our production processes in line with circular economy principles. We focus on using raw materials efficiently, returning secondary raw materials generated during production to the material cycle, and introducing technologies that use resources more efficiently.
BREATHABLE FABRIC
The non-woven fabric is made by taking polymers and spinning them using heat and air. The resulting long fluffy threads are then pressed together between hot rollers, creating a flexible but solid fabric with a weave-like texture similar to that of canvas. The texture means the fabric is breathable, with a pleasant look and feel.

RENEWABLE ENERGY PRODUCTION
Our production process uses certified electricity generated entirely from renewable energy sources.
UP TO 100% RECYCLED RAW MATERIALS
Even though the bag is light, we are able to produce it with up to 100% recycled materials, which does not significantly change the properties of the bag in comparison to virgin materials.
