UAB Bagfactory is small, intensively growing and has a huge potential for further growth in shopping bags manufacturer, market leader in Lithuania and one of the market leaders in the EU. It is an ecologically responsible company that produces using both primary (paper, polypropylene and polyethylene nonwovens) and recycled waste material (non-woven fabric of recycled polyethylene).

The ongoing project is for new automation equipment with integrated digital solutions acquisition and installation, thus contributing to the modernization of the production base, the increase of production capacity, reduction of direct production costs.

The project will modernize the main production processes, a control and monitoring system has been installed, which will ensure the quality of products, reduce the likelihood of defects and production the amount of waste generated during the process.

The implemented project will create preconditions for significant productivity growth and fulfillment of customer orders in the shortest possible time. UAB Bagfactory from 2020 April 1 until 2023 September 1 implements the project “DIGITALIZATION SOLUTIONS FOR SHOPPING BAG MANUFACTURING PROCESSES MODERNIZATION (BF GO-DIGITAL) ”(No. 03.3.1-LVPA-K-854-02-0048) financed under the 2014-2020 Priority 3 of the European Union Funds Investment Operational Program 2007-2013 “Small and Medium Business Promoting Competitiveness “Measure no. 03.3.1-LVPA-K-854 “Industrial Digitization LT”.

Project budget 1 6661 259.10 Eur.

Project financing amount 7 47 566.60 EUR.
